Do you feel like your body has been hijacked by sensations that you can't identify or pinpoint? Do you find yourself disconnected from your life and those things you once enjoyed doing? Have you ever experienced or seen something in the past that now invades your life on a daily basis? Have you ever just wanted to hide away from everything? I know that feeling and I'm telling you right now, you're not alone.
I work with clients who are navigating the murky waters of trauma, self-injury, disordered eating, and grief & loss. In an openly collaborative, respectfully curious, and client-driven pace, we will walk together to explore and embolden your inner resources, unique strengths, and the innate wisdom of the body.
When it feels like you're up the creek without a paddle, therapy can really come in handy. When you feel overloaded with nowhere to turn, the safe space we co-create can lessen that isolating pain. Together, we can stand up and reclaim your life from these challenges.
I have extensive training in sensorimotor psychotherapy, which means that I can help you with the trauma or somatic sensations you are experiencing and free you up to feel good!
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Originally from Missouri, I got my undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of Missouri before making my way out to California and earning my degree from the Phillips Graduate Institute.
